Call for Proposals: International Policy Ideas Challenge 2024

 

June 19, 2024 – Global Affairs Canada (GAC), in collaboration with the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), is excited to announce the 2024 International Policy Ideas Challenge! This program aims to leverage the expertise of talented Canadian graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and early-career civil society researchers to develop innovative solutions to emerging international policy challenges faced by Canada. 

Applications should focus on topics affecting Canadian interests in international policy, including foreign policy, economic policy, and international assistance policy, that require further study.

The International Policy Ideas Challenge invites applications from current graduate students (Master’s or PhD level) and post-doctoral fellows at recognized Canadian post-secondary institutions. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada.
