Mexican Government Call for Projects from Canadian Indigenous Academic Groups 2024
July 4, 2024 – The Government of Mexico, through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), has announced the 2024 Call for Projects from Canadian Indigenous Academic Groups.
This program offers 12 scholarships for 8 students and 4 academics from Canada, who belong to the Inuit, Métis, or First Nations communities. The scholarships are intended for those wishing to pursue undergraduate (last semester) and graduate studies in Mexico. Academic groups should consist of one academic and up to two students.
Preference will be given to academic groups whose members have not previously received support from the Government of Mexico.

Duration: 2 to 4 weeks
Target audience: Indigenous students from Inuit, Métis, or First Nations communities and an accompanying faculty member
Inclusions: Round-trip airfare (Canada-Mexico-Canada), ground and/or air transportation to the host educational institution, and a stipend of $13,202 pesos
Deadline: August 15, 2024, at 18:00 Central Mexico Time.
